Robotics & Automated Systems -Level 1

This training is designed to equip you with the skills you need to build basic robots and automated systems. You will learn about basic electronics elements, sensors, actuators and microcontroller and be able to use them to build devices that operate with little or no human intervention. At the end of the training, you will understand how robots senses and respond to it’s environment using sensors and actuators. You will also learn the principle behind automated systems using a hands-on project approach.

This training is designed to provide further knowledge on building robots and automated systems. You will learn about more sensors and actuators and be able to use them to build more powerful robots and automated systems that are useful for homes. You will be introduced to wireless technology (Bluetooth) that will enable you to build a robot that can be controlled wirelessly. You will learn about LCD that will enable you to make your robot or automated device interactive. Course contents include:

  • Sensors (Part 2)-LM35, DHT11, Track sensor, Ultrasonic sensor
  • Actuators (Part 2)- servo motor, stepper motor, relays
